How to pick up chicks:

1. Wash your hands first
2. Sit down next to the chick
3. Gently put your hand under the chick, making sure that its legs are sticking out between your fingers.
4. Use your other hand to cover the wings of the chick, so that it doesn't try to fly away.
5. Scoop up the chick!
6. Resist kissing the chick (you can get salmonella)
7. Remember to wash your hands after handling chicks. Also remember to always be gentle, as chicks are fragile.
